Project Highlight
This heavy industrial dust silo was fabricated out of A36 steel rolled, welded and braced using angle iron rings. We additionally fabricated an OSHA standard handrail using angle and flat bar painted yellow and bolted on to the top.
Shop Update
This year we have completed many equipment upgrades in our shop. We updated our CNC controls for the roll & break press. Upgrades were also done to our overhead crane in building B.
Safety News
As part of our safety protocols WeFab attends a monthly safety meeting at SDI. This enables us to continue to work with SDI and keep us up to date on safety information.
Employee Spotlight:
John Boyle
John Boyle started as a fabricator in 1988. After being with WeFab for 34 years he is now our shop supervisor. He started working at the age of 13 doing part-time jobs and construction work. He graduated from Grace College with a business degree.
He enjoys being a fabricator and says he likes the challenge of different projects. Being able to read a blueprint and put a project together can be satisfying at the end result.
Outside of work he has been married since 1985. He and his wife have 3 children and 2 granddaughters. He spends a lot of time with them and also enjoys fishing, boating and golfing when he can.
